Welcome to Midtown
For some, it’s the historic charm. For others, it’s the walkability. For many others, it’s the idea of being central to everything. These are just a few of the many reasons why Atlanta residents love Midtown, and why so many people are clamoring to live here. The combination of historic buildings, towering high-rises, tree-lined streets and plenty to see and do (and eat!) have helped make this one of the most thriving neighborhoods of Atlanta.
Why we love Midtown
Perhaps one of the most obvious reasons why we recommend Midtown living for our corporate travelers and extended stay clients is its accessibility. Simply put, this neighborhood is central to just about everything you might want or need during your stay. Many great companies large and small are headquartered in this area, making short or even walkable/bike-able commutes a reality for many. A wide variety of shopping and dining options are also in walking distance, and with direct public transportation available to the airport, there’s virtually no need for a car!
Things to do in Midtown
Midtown Atlanta is widely considered the cultural hub of the metro, home to famous institutions like the Woodruff Arts Center and High Museum of Art. Moving farther south along Peachtree Street, the “Midtown Mile” is a shopper’s paradise — a fantastic blend of national retailers and boutique stores with plenty of dining options. Speaking of dining, you’ve got more than 150 restaurants to choose from in the Midtown, and almost all of them are within walking distance. Midtown is also home to the ever-popular Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Garden. And of course, downtown attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola are only a short bus, train or bike ride south.
